MRS. H. L. ROOKS
. Mrs. H. L. Rooks, age 55, died in a Dothan Alabama hospital after a lingering illness, Thursday night July 13, 1939. She is survived by her husband, H. L. Rooks, four children Loran, Morgan, Eloise and Mary Elle, two brothers, Mr. Buck and Harve Gilbert, and three sisters, Mrs. Belauh Thompson, Mrs. Loue Kent, and Mrs. Mollie Scott.
. Funeral services were held at Orange Hill Church at 4 P. M. Friday, with Rev. W. H. McIntosh and J. J. Rooks officiating. Interment in Orange Hill Cemetery.
. Pallbearers were: Brown Kent, Hubert Thompson, Paul Thompson, Earlie Thompson, Gordon Kent, and Dewey Scott.
. J. O. Blackburn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
