Eugene Wesley Nalley aka "Jean" aka "John" was born in Township 2, Chickasaw Nation, Oklahoma on 11 Nov 1889 to Howell Cobb Nalley and Mary Josephine Ross-Nalley (his parents are also buried in Whitebead Cemetery).

Married Bertha Belle Blankenship on 20 Jan 1912 in Garvin County, Oklahoma. Bertha reportedly moved to California with 4 sons sometime after her husband's death. She reportedly died on 18 May 1978 in Riverside, California. One of their 4 sons Sherman Henry Nalley also reportedly died in Riverside, California on 21 Nov 1992.

Inscription:
Nalley, J.W. Nov 11, 1889 Oct 13, 1922 Husband of Bertha, "He has gone to the mansions of rest", a large tree is the middle of this grave (making it difficult to get a headstone photo). He is buried in Section 3 Row 5.
