Chester Janosky, 119 Janosky Road, Lackawannock Township, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday (2-12-00) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, following a brief illness. He was 67.
Mr. Janosky was born Feb. 13, 1932 in West Middlesex to Justin and Sophie Winkel Januszka. He attended New Wilmington Schools. Mr. Janosky was a core builder for the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. for 20 years; and was a dairy farmer on the family farm in New Wilmington.
He belonged to St. Adalbert Church, Farrell. Mr. Janosky enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and his grandchildren.
Surviving are: his wife, the former Bonnie L. Buzard, whom he married July 19, 1957, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Svarny, Masury; two sons, Gary, New Wilmington;
and Terry, Strongsville, Ohio; a sister Mrs. Joseph (Jane) Pilch, Brockway, Pa.; a brother, Albert Janoski, New
Wilmington; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladys Kedrick, Helen Babnis, Stella Wasko, and Molly Kuzell; two brothers, Joseph, and Walter Janoski; and a grandson.

Service: Funeral Mass Tuesday (2-15-00) in St. Adalbert Church, Farrell.
Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Hermitage.
