Death of Mr. Martin Biedler.

Our Marksville correspondent gives the particulars of Mr. Biedler's death, which occurred at his home on the Hawksbill, about 5 o'clock last Friday morning. Mr. B. was the last of a large family reared in this county, and one always noted for its prominence and respectability. He was noted for his hospitality, and especially for his liberality and charity towards those in unfortunate circumstances in life, and many are the friends in this class who feel that in his death they have lost a friend that always served them in need. He was a gentleman of large intelligence, liberal views, and public spirited. Though for the last few months confined to his room by reason of disease, and for several years, by reason of advancing age, withdrawn from the active duties of life, he will be greatly missed by the people not only of this county, but by an extensive acquaintance throughout the State. He was a member of the Hawksbill Baptist church, and in that connection was beloved and honored by all of his brethren. He leaves a wife, several daughters and sons, of the latter Mr. J. Ed. Biedler of Sands, this county, and Mr. Walter Biedler of the firm of Witz, Biedler & Co., Baltimore.
