Sallie was the wife of Simeon Dean who died in Chambers County, Alabama, in 1867. She was the daughter of Judson and Elizabeth Jackson PURYEAR Warlick of Atlanta.
Sallie's parents and her 18-year-old daughter, Margaret "Mattie" Dean are all buried in Oakland Cemetery.
