Thomas Fenn was a French and Indian War and Revolutionary War veteran.
He was with the 4th Company, 4th Regiment under Captain Eldad Lewis during the campaign of 1755. In 1774 he was appointed Ensign of of the 7th Northbury (Plymouth, Connecticut) Company volunteer militia. In October 1777 he was a Captain with Lieutenant Colonel Baldwin's Regiment at Danbury, Connecticut. He also served with Baldwin's Regiment during British General Tryon's invasion of New Haven, Connecticut in 1779.
He served in the Connecticut State Legislature for 35 sessions beginning in 1778 as a representative from Waterbury and later Westbury, now known as Watertown, Connecticut.
He was a Justice of the Peace and was a Deacon in the Watertown Congregational Church for many years.
