Mrs. Ellarie Eden Adam, 78, of Arlington, formerly of Waco, died Sunday in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Adam was born March 10, 1910, in Mobile, Ala. She attended the Central Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis, Mo. She was married to John Quincy Adam on July 27, 1939, in Mobile, and they later moved to Waco. She and her husband were active in the Columbus Avenue Baptist Church Deaf Ministry until moving to Fort Worth in 1971. She participated in North Fort Worth Baptist Church Deaf Ministry and also Deaf Senior Citizens' Program at Goodrich Center for the Deaf in Fort Worth. She was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lil Browning of Arlington; and two grandchildren.
