I don't have the original source as these were passed down to me by someone who is now deceased but I believe them to be from the Caldwell County, Missouri area.
Solomon E. O'Dell, 86, died Sunday morning at a Kingston rest home. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include five sons, Chester A. O'Dell, Kidder; Elmer E. O'Dell and Ralph O'Dell, both of St. Joseph, Andrew M. O'Dell, Kingston and Marvin S. O'Dell, Osborn, three daughters, Mrs. Kate Dorkins, Hamilton, Mrs. Pearl Voyles, Plattsburg and Mrs. Maxine Murphy, Lathrop; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Weeks, El Dorado, Kansas, and Mrs. Ora Martin, Braymer; and five brothers, Chester O'Dell, Kingston, John O'Dell, Braymer, Alonzo O'Dell, Breckenridge, Charles O'Dell, Fellows, California and Ralph O'Dell, Arroys Graude, California.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark chapel in Kingston, with the Rev. R.L. Fox officiating. Burial was in Kingston cemetery.
