Harley H. Blake, 84, 117 Roselawn Ave. died Thursday at Muscatine General Hospital. Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. The Rev. Leland Eyres will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. --- The son of Oliver T. and Lydia L. Edgington Blake he was born January 17,1898 in Muscatine County. His marriage to Minnie Powell took place September 29,1922 in Muscatine. Mr. Blake was a retired button cutter and fence builder. --- Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Orville (Wilma) Smith of Muscatine, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three sisters Bessie Putman, Ethel Haller, Mrs. Ed (Edna) Morgan all of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter, one grandson, five brothers and one sister.
