Lilly was the daughter of Otto J & Lulu (Bainbridge) Christian and wife of Robert Leroy Buck. She attended school in La Salle and graduated from Greeley High School in 1941. She moved to Tacoma with a girlfriend after graduation and woked at the canteen on Ft. Lewis where she met "Bob" Buck. After their marriage they lived in Tacoma until Bob joined the Air Force and she returned to Colorado to live with parents until his assignment in Hobbs,NM. They lived most of their life in Greeley, returned to Tacoma in 1952 but after a year or so returned to Greeley. Had brothers Carl, Otto Jr, Roland clyde, Donald, Harold & sister Edna.
