James S. Barrickman
Friends will be received at the Finney Funeral Home in Dravosburg after 7 p.m. today for James S. Barrickman, 71, who died today in McKeesport Hospital. He resided at Richard`s Hotel in Dravosburg.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home by the Rev. Dr. Samuel Boerstler and burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
Mr. Barrickman was born July 8, 1886, in Jones Station, West Elizabeth, a son of the late Peter and Thurza Blatchford Barrickman. He had been a Dravosburg resident 45 years and was a member of the St. John`s Lutheran Church there.
He was a retired employe of the Dravosburg Dock Co., a member of Coal Valley Council 98, Junior Order of United American Mechanics, Glassport Aerie 1185, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Dravosburg Fire Department No. 1.
Husband of the late Elizabeth Boyer Barrickman, he is survived by a brother Edward Barrickman of West Elizabeth.
