Birth: 1907, USA
Death: 1980
Clarkston
Asotin County
Washington, USA

Uncle Lloyd was my Maternal Great-Uncle and married to my Great-Aunt, Auntie Mabel (Mabel Hare DeLong).

I have very fond Memories of visiting my Auntie Mabel and Uncle Lloyd at their Home in Clarkston, Washington as well as when they would come to our house to visit our Family, Jack and Diana Morse, Uncle Lloyd's Niece and Nephew by Marriage, my Brother, Eugene, my two Sister's, Chandie and Connie and Myself, on the Nelson Family Farm. Frequently,we also were all together at my Maternal Grandparent's House in Moscow, Idaho, Fred and Myrtle Nelson, Uncle Lloyd's Sister and Brother-in-Law.

My fondest memories of Uncle Lloyd are the big camping trips we all got together for, Auntie Mabel and Uncle Lloyd, Fred and Myrtle Nelson and my Family, Jack and Diana Morse, Eugene, Chandie, Connie and I. We once took a very long camping trip to the Salmon River in Idaho, Red Fish Lake and the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho, Jackson Hole, WY and the Teton Mountains of Wyoming, Yellowstone Park, Virginia City, Montana and then back home, we were gone for about 2 weeks on this trip and it is a trip I will always remember. We also took many Group Camping Trips and Picnics up on the Lochsa/Selway River Area by Lowell, Idaho, in the Nez Perce National Forest, Bitterroot Mountains of Idaho. We always had so much fun, these trips were truly one of my fondest memories of growing up on Idaho.

Uncle Lloyd passed away before my Auntie Mabel.

My Mother, Diana Nelson and Brother, Eugene Morse, drove from Rathdrum/Coeur d Alene, Idaho to Clarkston, WA, on Memorial Weekend this Year to place Flowers on Uncle Lloyd and Auntie Mabel's Grave Marker's at Vineland Cemetery, Clarkston, WA, they said they looked very nice.

Both You and Auntie Mabel always remain in my thoughts and prayer's until we can all be together, again, and continue our Camping Adventures that we all enjoyed so much!!!

Dear Uncle Lloyd: I remember the snapdragons that you and Auntie Mabel used to grow in your yard in Clarkston, WA. The little house you lived in I will never forget. It was so cute and immaculate. I remember staying with both of you at your house in L...(Read more)
