Robert B. Grubb

Robert B. Grubb, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000. He was a resident of Indianapolis.

He was born May 15, 1914, in Mace. His parents were Ernest E. and Maude (Galloway) Grubb. He married Esther M. (Knight) Grubb. She preceded him in death. Survivors include a daughter, Janice Nichols of Whiteland; three granddaughters, Cheryl Beeson, Debbie White and Rebecca Skirvin, all of Greenwood; and seven great-grandchildren.

He attended Arsenal Technical High School.

He was employed for 25 years by Eli Lilly and Co., retiring in 1977, and he was previously employed by Real Silk Hosiery Mill as a knitter.

He was a member of Monument Masonic Lodge 657. He was also past master.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel in Indianapolis. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
