He was born July 09, 1926, in Marshall County, MS, to James Marion Gandy and Bennie Lee McCallum Gandy.
He was an employee of the Wurlitzer factory and Member of the First Baptist Church of Potts Camp.
Survivors include his Wife, Nita William Gandy of Potts Camp; a Son, Cecil Ray Gandy, Jr., of Potts Camp; a Daughter, Kathy Ritts of Potts Camp; a Brother, Clyde E. Gandy of Potts Camp; 2 Grandchildren, Melissa Shaw and James Ray Gandy; and a Great Grandchild, Anna Beth Gandy.
He was preceded in death by a Son, Jimmy Ray Gandy; his Parents; and 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
