SALT LAKE CITY--Funeral services for Thelma Edginton Biorn were Tuesday, May 19, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Manila, Utah, LDS Chapel. Interment was in the Manila Cemetery.
Mrs. Biorn died Thursday, May 14, 1998 at her home in Salt Lake City, after a battle against cancer.
She was born May 26, 1916 in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Arthur Frances Edginton and Ida Lillie Henderson.
She married Lawrence Paul Biorn, May 21, 1935 in St. Anthony, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Oct. 30, 1965.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many positions in the church. She served seven years as a temple worker in the St. George, Utah, Temple and served an LDS mission to the Little Rock, Ark., Mission from December 1979-December 1980.
She is survived by her children; WaNeta Lamb of Vernal, Utah; Larry (Wilma) Biorn of Las Vegas; Ida Marie "Burl" Twitchel of Manila, Utah; Zona Larson of Vernal, Utah; Paul (Barbara) Biorn of Peoria, Arizona; 22 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; parents, three sisters, one brother, three children, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
