Donald A Slater, 58, of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Chicora, died at 10:30 p.m. yesterday in the Mt. Sinai Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, after a lingering illness.
Born in Butler County, Aug. 17, 1918, he was the son of Joseph F and the late Blanche Shook Slater.
He was an inspector at the TRC Company, Cleveland.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Haggerty Slater; four brothers, Clayton Slater of Parker, Jason of Portland, Ore., Eugene of West Hampton Beach, NY, and Russell of Franklin.
