OBITUARY :
PAUL M. HALEY, SR., 77, Waynesboro, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. He had been in failing health since May and had undergone an operation at the Waynesboro Hospital.

He was born at Latrobe, the son of Robert J. and Mary Snouffer Haley. The family moved to Waynesboro in 1890. Mr. Haley followed the plastering trade all his adult life.

He was employed in Waynesboro until 1940 when he moved to Baltimore and then to Chicago. He returned to Waynesboro in 1952 and had since made his home with his sister. Mrs. Mae Thompson, Waynesboro. He had been retired for the last 10 years.

Mr. Haley was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Creager Haley, and two children, Paul M. Haley, Jr., Waynesboro, and Mrs. Roy Sheffler, Waynesboro. A grandson, three stepchildren, Mrs. Floyd Settles, Everett R. 1; Max Snowberger and Donald Snowberger, Waynesboro: two brothers, Robert J. Haley, Waynesboro; William Haley, Gettysburg, and three sisters, Mrs. Mae Thompson, Mrs. Edward Hess, both of Waynesboro, and Mrs. Hilda Mumma, Baltimore, also survive.

Funeral services Wednesday at 9 a.m from St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church. Requiem mass will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph P. Kealy. Burial in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday night from 7 until 9 o'clock at the Grove Funeral Home. Prayers will be recited at 8 o'clock.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
