Birth: Sep. 13, 1821
Death: Mar. 6, 1892

"The LaFayette Sun" - March 9, 1892:

Mr. D. M. Beaty.

It is with regret that we chronicle the death of Mr. D. M. Beaty, of beat 4, which sad event occurred last Sunday. He had a stroke of paralysis about ten days ago, after which he never spoke. He was one of Chambers' oldest citizens, being about 70 years of age. He had many friends, who, with his relatives, will sadly miss him. We sympathize with them.

Mr. Milton Beaty, an aged citizen, died at his home near Pleasant Grove yesterday and will be buried today with Masonic honors in the Lebanon cemetery. We console with the bereaved ones, and may the teachings of Christ's religion comfort their hearts.
