Born in Monterey Park, CA to Ralph and Eleanor (Cadwallader) Sherman. In 1955 Dale married his sweetheart, Ruth Hoos and in 1958 he graduated from Biola University. Immediately after graduation Dale and Ruth were called to Machias, WA to pastor their first church with Village Missions. In coming years he served as Pastor to Long Creek, OR, Burley, WA, Valley Ford, WA, Oro Grande, CA and in Coarsegold, CA. In semi-retirement he once again was called to Burley Bible Church where he served as Shepherding Pastor till his homegoing.
