Jordan Hardwick was born in 1805 In Montgomery County,Kenucky to Samuel H. and Lucinda(Bunch) Hardwick( Lucinda was the daughter of Zachariah and Sabory Bunch he live in Montgomery county,Kentucky then moved to Greenup County,Kentucky . He married Dorinda (Sproggins)Emmerson ,Dorinda had been married before to Muhlelnburg Emmerson and they had three children Nancy Emmerson, Catherine Emmerson , Frank Emmerson Jordan Married Dorinda April 16,1829 in Linclon County,Kentucky . But Lost when or where Dorinda died at. Jordan lived with family members do to he went Blind. In 1885 he lived with his brother William in Fort Scott,Kansas Bourbon County, He died there and they brought his body back to Gentry County, Missouri to be buried along with family members His brother William is buried in West Plains cemetery In Bourbon County,Kansas Jordan had two children Mary Ann Hardwick born September 25,1831 and William Pinkney Hardwick born April 10,1836.His brothers are Samuel W.-Henry,George Nimrod,John Wesley, William and his sister were Sarah (Sallie), Elizabeth ,Mary Ann.
