Robert was married to Ruth BARBER and served in the American Revolution.
Robert first settled in Hopkinton, Rhode Island, where he executed several deeds. In the census of 1774, he was living in South Kingstown. In 1775, he was a member of the Bottskill Baptist Church with his wife, Ruth, in Greenwich, Washington County, New York. He was first deacon of this church in 1791. He is buried beside his nephew, Phineas Kenyon.
From the book, American Kenyons, by Howard N. Kenyon
There is some confusion as to his sons, particularly in regard to Caleb, as he was apparently confused with another Caleb. Amasa was added later, as was Benjamin, although the census records only show four sons. So, it is unclear whether Caleb is a son or whether Benjamin should be added.

I've been researching the Green/Kenyon family for my granddaughter & found records that Robert Kenyon & Ruth Barber had a daughter, Mary 'Polly' Kenyon born between 1758-1761 in Rhode Island.
Ancestry has a marriage record showing Mary married John Green in RI in 1776. A millennium record shows John & Mary had a son, Kenyon Green. This same record shows parents for Mary & her husband John.
So far I haven't been able to find a death/burial record for John or Mary. ~ added by MHK #46964191]
