Earnie Allen Anderson was born January 14, 1915, in Dewey, Washington County, Oklahoma, to Joseph Claude & Mary Julia (Sears) Anderson. He was one of six siblings born to the Anderson family.

In 1936, Earnie married Mary Lanora Tucker in Oklahoma. They had four children; sons, Douglas, Dewayne, Damon, and David and raised them southeast of Copan, Oklahoma. The children received their education at Copan Schools.

Earnie Allen Anderson, during his lifetime, ran a dairy farm, plumbing business, and a furniture store. He also purchased oil leases east of Copan, Oklahoma.

He died on October 17, 1972, at the age of 57, in an oil field accident. Funeral services were held and burial was in the Dewey Cemetery, Dewey, Washington County, Oklahoma.
