Roanna Wise, 45, of Tolono, died at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 2, 2000) at the Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville with Pastor Scott McDonald, Pastor K. Randal Pate and Brother Dale Sims officiating. Burial will be in Partlow Cemetery in Clark County. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 27, 1955, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Edward Peveler and Lila Lee Cooley. She married Charles Wise in 1987; he survives.
Also survivng are her mother, Lila Watts of Tuscola; four daughters, Debrah Crowl of Ivesdale, Malinda Wise of Urbana, Kande Wise at home and Tara Hopper of Marshall, Texas; two brothers, Ricky Todd Peveler of Indiana and Gregg Watts of Westville; two sisters, Crystal Bailey of Homosassa, Fla., and Marsha Reed of LeRoy; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
Mrs. Wise was an LPN, and a member of the New Life of Champaign United Pentecostal Church and the Illinois Nurses Association.
