Mark Allen Boyd, 28, of Marmaduke died Wednesday June 12, 2002, in an automobile accident near Marmaduke.

Born May 29, 1974, in Paragould, he was an employee of Anchor Packaging in Marmaduke and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Hale-Boyd of the home; one son, Tristan Boyd of Paragould; one daughter, Taylor Boyd of the home; his father, Mark Boyd of Paragould; mother and stepfather, LaDonna and Arlie Broadaway of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Joseph Boyd of Jonesboro and Bradley Boyd of Paragould; one half-brother, P.J. Boyd of Marmaduke; two step-sisters, Carrie Adams of Brookland and Lindy Baker of Scott Air Force Base, Ill.; step-grandparents, Reuben and Eva Broadaway of Milam, Texas; father and mother-in-law, Ray and Sharon Hale of Marmaduke; former in-laws, Ray and Brenda Bishop of Paragould, six aunts and three uncles.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Mitchell Funeral Home chapel in Paragould with Melvin York officiating. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Paragould with Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Mark Boyd, Joseph Boyd, Bradley Boyd, Marlin Stevenson, Arlie Broadaway and Albert Sartain. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Hall and Scott Berry.
