AT CHARLOTTESVILLE
Hallie Ewing Coiner, after three months illness in the University hospital at Charlottesville, died early Monday Morning.
He was the son of the late Cornelius J. and Viola Long Coiner, and was born near Swoope. The greater part of his life was spent in Staunton and Augusta county, where he was a well known farmer and stock raiser, being active in organizations pertaining to the advancement of farmers' interests.
He was the last of his immediate family, his mother having died only six weeks ago.
His wife, Mrs. Kate Fauver Coiner, survives.
The funeral will be held from the First Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in Thornrose cemetery, the rites to be conducted by the Masonic order of which he was past Eminent Commander.
