Delores was the wife of Virgil Vernon Day. They were the parents of four children. The family moved from Vicksburg, Warren County, MS to Bartlesville OK in 1943. In 1957 they moved to Dallas and remained there until Virgil retired. At retirement they made their home in
Monticello, MS. Delores was a faithful member of the Baptist Church in Monticello.
