As recorded on line four in the Family Register of 1st St. John's Lutheran Church in Seebach's Hill of Perth County, Ontario, Canada, Valentine Jr. was born in Ingenheim, Alsace, France, and immigrated to Canada with his parents, brother and their spouses in 1832, as well as his son and three daughters.
Valentine and his wife, Margaretha Haver, had the following children: George Henry, Mary Ann, Margaretha and Katherina.
In 1837, Valentine Jr. contracted the purchase of the west half of Lot 28, Concession 1, Ellice Township, Perth County, Ontario, Canada, earning the deed in 1846. In 1842, Valentine Jr. also leased the property behind at Lot 28, Concession 2, Ellice Township, earning the deed in 1854. It was at this 100 acre farm that Valentine built a two-storey stone house. In 1862, the titles for both properties were transferred to his son, George Henry who sold the whole 150 acres in 1880 to Philip Seibert.
Valentine's wife, Margaretha Haver, died in 1873. So, in 1880, when son George Henry, his family, and daugther Katherina Vogt and her family, moved to Nebraska, Valentine moved too. Valentine died four years later in Gage county, Nebraska, USA.
