Ethel Skewis, 84, of Port Orchard died of cancer Monday in Port Orchard.
She was born in Buena to Sophia and Grover Coleman.
She was married to Grover Hill from 1940 to 1960, and Russell Skewis from 1960 to 1976.
She was a nutritional aide at the Washington State University Extension in Port Orchard for 10 years. She was a lifelong member of Take Off Pounds Sensibly of Port Orchard. She enjoyed hunting, flowers and she always had Daschund dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husbands.
Survivors include her sons, Gregg Hill of Port Orchard and Larry Hill of Madison, Wis.; her daughters, Linda Rock of Port Orchard and Elaine Block of Tacoma; her brothers, Grover "Bud" Coleman of Randle and Robert Coleman of Glenoma; and her sisters, Ellen Forrest of Morton and Lucy LaFortune of Texas.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Friday at Rill's Life Tribute Center. Interment: 1 p.m. Friday at Morton Hill Cemetery in Morton.
