He was a retired employe of Sears and Roebuck, Harrisburg; a member of Red Hill Church of God; Citizens Fire Company; Masonic Lodge 381; and Harrisburg Consistory.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Helen Barrick, three sisters, Mrs James W Miller, Newport RD 2, Mrs Mae Neidigh, Newport, and Mrs Shirley Graham, Newport RD 1; and a brother George A, Newport.
Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home on Walnut Street, Newport. Rev. Donald Wilkason, his pastor, officiated. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.
