MAN DIED ON WAY TO ATTEND REUNION
Jonathan Andrews died at Monroe Sunday
Mr. Jonathan Andrews, age 76, of Richmond was stricken while on his way to a family reunion at Bellmont Park Saturday evening at 5:30 o'clock. He received the stroke while at Monroe and just soon after remarks with the joy he felt that he would be able to meet with many relatives that he had not seen for some time. A doctor was called but little could be done to save the man's life and he passed away at the home of his brother-in-law, Jesse Essex of Monroe at 10:15 Sunday morning.
Mr. Andrews lived with his daughter, Mrs. Homer Banta of Richmond. He formerly lived in Geneva but since he has retired from the farm he has been at home in that city.
His wife preceded him three months ago. Six children survive. They are, Amos, of Dayton, Ohio, Chris, of Warren, Ohio, Hosey, at home, Mrs. Homer Banta, of Richmond, Mrs. Sadie Hix of Michigan, and Mrs. Flora Bright of Fort Recovery, Ohio. A sister, Mrs. Tillie Deitsch, lives in Decatur and a brother, Seth, lives in Michigan.
Funeral services will be held at Monroe Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church at 1:30 o'clock.
