MRS. PARILEE EDES / EADES
MRS. PARILEE EDES, 65 years of age, died at the family residence four miles north of Saint Jo Saturday morning, Dec. 4 at 12:15. Funeral services were conducted at Fairview Saturday afternoon by Rev. N. R. HARALSON, pastor of the
Baptist Church following by interment at Fairview cemetery, C. H. DUNBAR in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Edes is survived by her husband, W. T. EDES and nine children, three sons and six daughters. Sons: TOM EDES and MELVIN EDES of Saint Jo, JOHN EDES of Gainesville. Daughters: MRS. MOLLIE TROLINGER and MRS. CORDA STERLING of Bowie, MRS. LULA NICHOLS of Gainesville, MRS. EULA PARKS of
Electra, MRS. MAGGIE COLE and MRS. CORA KITES of Hollis, Oklahoma. All were present except Tom and John who did not arrive in time. She is also survived by four brothers and two sisters, GEORGE W. WILSON of Saint Jo, M. F. WILSON of Ardmore, Oklahoma, J. H. WILSON of Elmore City, Oklahoma, J. R. WILSON of Ambrose, Texas, MRS. ALICE CRISP of Oklahoma City and MRS. MOLLIE RYAN. Mrs.
Edes was the first member baptized into the Antioch Baptist Church after it was organized and it was the second Baptist Church organized in Montague County.
