Mrs. Bowman
Mrs. ALMEDIA BOWMAN, 83, died at her home here Monday after a lingering illness of several months. Funeral services were held at the Molsbee Chapel church on Tuesday, conducted by Bro. TIDWELL. Interment was in the Molsbee Chapel cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. G. A. JOHNSON of Nocona, Mrs. R. L. WHITESIDE of Memphis, Texas, and Mrs. WALTER COCHRAN of Stonewall, Okla.; three sons, E. A. BOWMAN of Nocona, J. E BOWMAN of Memphis, Texas, and F. A. BOWMAN of Anaheim, California, 40 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were ABE MOLSBEE, APP MOLSBEE, ONZIE MOSLBEE, JOE SHELTON, W. E. SHELTON and LUTHER JACKSON.

Almedia Wilmoth daughter of John Kettle Wilmoth and Elizabeth Ann Canfield married 1 April 1869 in Cheat Mountain, Randolph, West Virginia, to Noah Bowman son of Samuel B. Bowman and Mary "Molly" Myers. Noah and Almedia had eleven children:
1. George B. Bowman (1870-1876),
2. Susan R. Bowman (1871-1897)who married a Mr. Atkins,
3. Sarah Helen Bowman (1873-1950)married Joseph C. Carver Sr.,
4. Albia Annon Bowman (1875-1877),
5. Elmer Andrew Bowman (1877-1962),
6. Fannie L. Bowman (1880-1881),
7. Iona Mae Bowman (1880-1966)married Robert Leroy Whiteside,
8. Pearl Irene Bowman(1883-1982) married Walter C. Cochran,
9. Frank Albert Bowman (1885-1952),
10. John Edward Bowman Sr.(1888-1974),
11. Annice Almedia Bowman (1893-1968)married Charles Alfus Johnson.
