brief illiness.Mrs Burton was a native of Interlachen, Fla., coming to this area about 17 years ago.
She was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church.
Surviving is her widower Percy Burton, her parents Mr and Mrs Edgar S. Smith, Fort Myers, Fla;
three daughters,Florence, Marjorie, and Juanita, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Sherouse
and Mrs. Nellie Sherouse, Fort Myers, and Mrs Delia Hinson , Whiteville, N.C.; and two brothers.
Leroy L. Smith, Tampa and Prof. Merritt Smith, Columbus, Ga.
Funeral Services are in charge of the Seashole Funeral Parlors and will be announced later.
