Albert V. Kesteleyn, 75, of Woodstock, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at St. Mary Hospital in Madison, Wis.
He was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Crystal Lake, to Victor and Eunice (Wilson) Kesteleyn.
He married Margaret Siggins-Bennett on June 21, 1947, in Crystal Lake.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1776 in Woodstock. He was a member of the Woodstock Moose Lodge 1329 and was a lifetime parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Crystal Lake. He also was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Mesa, Ariz. and St. Vincent DePaul church, also in Mesa.
Survivors include his wife of Woodstock: a son, Thomas (Linda) Kesteleyn of Woodstock; four daughters, Anita (Donald) Komorski of Hanover Park, Susan (Joseph) Harvey of Neenah, Wis., N. Rebecca (Billy) Lozan of Crystal Lake and Sally(Andrew Jr. ) Davidson of Crystal lake; tree sisters, Geraldine Hermann of Hampshire, Violet June Muehler of Byron and Mary Louise Bogdonas of Rockford; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Jane, Esther and Clementine; and two grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a/m/ Friday, Aug. 30, at the church. Burial will be in Mc Henry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
