Our beloved son, husband, brother and friend, Colt Colton, age 33, passed away Sept. 23, 1997, in Salt Lake City.

Colt was born February 7, 1964, in Columbus Indiana, the son of Alan Brian and Tonia Roach Colton. He married Shelley Spackman on August 3, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loved the outdoors, especially spending time on the "Property." He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Colt was kindhearted and giving. He was always known as a hard worker. His hands were the hands of a laborer. He worked for many years as an iron worker doing construction. A kind and loving individual, Colt was respected and admired by all who knew him. His passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.Survivors include his wife Shelley Colton of Salt Lake City; parents; grandparents Leta Roark and Cora Thurston; four brothers and four sisters, Cait (Greg) Smith, Dallas, Dalton, Roark, Ryker, Riley, Keegan Peery, and Jennifer Colton, all of Salt Lake City. Five nieces and nephews and many family and friends. Preceded in death by Grandfather Martin G. Roark.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 27, 1997, 1 p.m., at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1700 E. 10600 S. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E. Funeral Directors, The Holbrook Mortuary.
