Donald Bruce Fancher died September 5, 2009 at the Granite View Adult Care Home, Prescott, AZ. Born September 9, 1933 in Kansas City, MO, Donald worked as an Aerospace engineer for NASA. He was a member of the American Legion, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, UAEC, and proudly served in the US Army, Korean War 82nd Airborne Division. Donald enjoyed gardening, sports, especially the Diamondbacks and the AZ Cardinals. He was most proud of his work on NASA's skylab and space shuttle.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joyce, daughters; Denise Moore of Fullerton, CA, and Janan Fancher of Lakewood, CA, son; Neil (Tammy) Fancher of Aurora, CO, and step-daughter, Deborah Hart of Prescott, AZ. Survivors also include his brother William (Sandra) Connell of Irving, TX, grandchildren; Christina, Sean, Nicholas, Amber, Blaine, and step-grandchildren Michael and Kelli, great-grandchildren; Kylie and Adrianna. Donald was preceded in death by his step-son, Philip Hart and granddaughter Erica.
Inurnment with military honors will be held at the Prescott National Cemetery , Prescott, AZ.
