Mrs. John Smith Dies—Burial At Prospect
Funeral rites were held from Prospect church Wednesday, June 5 for Mrs. John smith, 79, whose death occurred at her home June 3rd after a few days illness.
Burial with the Houston Funeral Home in charge, was in the adjoining cemetery.
The Rev. Hubert Collins officiated assisted by the Rev. C E Bailey pastor of Woodland Methodist Church.
She was before her marriage,51 years ago, Miss Cora Kilgore. She was a Methodist.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dan Harrington and Mrs. Tom Verell of Houston and two sons, Veston Smith of Houston and Elkin of Shreveport, La.
