Mary Alice James was the wife of Arthur H. James. She was raised in Colorado and lived briefly in Butte, Montana with her husband and children. Arthur died in Butte but was taken to Colorado to be buried in 1957. Mary lived many years longer and died in Canon City, Colorado.
