He was born October 8, 1928, in Weston to Emil and Rose(Dolezal) Maly.
He graduated from Weston High School in 1946. He served eight years in the Navy Reserves.
He owned and operated a roofing company for many years in the Wahoo area.
Survivors include: his wife, Donna; three sons, Randy (Janet) Maly and Ron Maly, all of Wahoo, and Scott (Susan) Maly of Walton; a daughter, Doreen (Doug) Anderson of Wahoo; three sisters, Adeline(Julius) Woita of Omaha, Sally Timmons of North Bend and Rita (Bob) Cerny of North Bend; a brother, Ray (Rosemary) Maly of Wahoo; and four grandchildren.
The Rev. John Cooper officiated with burial in Sunrise Cemetery in Wahoo. Svoboda Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
