NOTE: Clara's maiden name was Willis but when her mother, Mary (Reed) Willis died when Clara was 12 years old, she was adopted by Frank Freer.

Mrs. Clara H. Paarmann, 68, 1239 E. Water St., resident of Albany for the last 27 years, died at a local hospital after a brief illness Sunday morning. Funeral services will be held at the Fisher funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, followed by burial in Williamette Memorial park.

Officiating will be the Rev. Theodore Chapman, assisted by the Rev. L. R. Hall.

Mrs. Paarmann was born near Loyal, Wis., May 18, 1885. She lived in Duluth, Minn., at Spokane, Wash. and Seattle before coming to Albany in 1925 with husband, H. W. Paarmann, who died Jan. 24, 1946 and to whom she was married at Duluth June 10, 1903.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. Wesley B. Price, Albany and William W. Paarmann, Dallas, two brothers, O. W. Cady, Pasadena, Cal., and James Willis, Mankato, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Carpenter, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Josie Oatman, Albany; by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

PAARMANN, Mrs. Clara H., 68, died July 26. She is survived by children: Mrs. Wesley B. Price, Albany and William W. Paarmann, Dallas, Oregon; brothers: O. W. Cady of Pasadena, Calif., and James Willis of Mankato, Minn.; sisters: Mrs. Grace Carpenter of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Josie Oatman of Albany, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral will be at Fisher Funeral Home Wednesday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Theodore Chapman, assisted by Rev. L. R. Hall, officiating. Interment Willamette Memorial Park. Mrs. Paarmann was a member of Albany Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
