Clarence P. ‘Red' May
Longtime Sheridan resident Clarence P. ‘Red' May, 76, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, in Sheridan. Private services and burial in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery have taken place. Arrangements were with Kane Funeral Home. Mr. May was born Aug. 22, 1932, in Monticello, Minn., to George Joseph May and May Alfretta(Rogers) May Gustafson. He wed Patricia Whittier on Feb. 10, 1964, in St. Paul, Minn. He worked many years as a dairyman and enjoyed woodcarving, working on cars, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his younger sister. Survivors include his wife; one son, Jim, of Billings; one daughter, Abby Schultz of Bremerton, Wash.; 11 brothers and sisters in the St. Paul area; and four grandchildren.
