Funeral services for Clifford Chester Whitaker, 64, of Lancaster were held Thursday at Mumaw Chapel in Lancaster. Rev. Murray McNeill conducted the services. Interment was in Joshua Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Whitaker was born on December 20, 1895 in Los Angeles and died on March 14, 1960 after an illness of several months. He was an alfalfa farmer in this area until his retirement in 1949. Survivors include his widow, Mary Whitaker; a daughter, Marilynn L. Wallace of Houston, Texas; and a brother, E. Howard Whitaker.
