Hazel Adolph, 80, of Windsor, died September 20, 2011 in Fort Collins, CO. She was born to Angus R. and Hazel B. (Jones) Wilmoth in Fort Lupton, CO.
Hazel married David Adolph on November 23, 1948. She has lived in the Greeley area almost her entire life.
She attended Frederick High School and completed her GED. She was a Campfire Girls leader for 18 years and secretary and member of the Morgan Horse Association for many years. She was also a volunteer with the Census and for the American Cancer Society driving chemotherapy patients. At home, she was also a compulsive house-cleaner and champion bingo player.
Hazel was the center of a large family with 12 siblings, 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed by her large extended family.
Survivors include her husband, David H. Adolph, Windsor; son, David Adolph; daughters, Jacqueline Adolph, Susan Adolph, and Janet Adolph-Bloom; brothers, Angus Rollie, Robert, Charles and Perry Wilmoth; sisters, Judy Mason, Ruby Paris and Phyllis Elmes; grandchildren, Josh and Luke Buxman, Alex and Zachary McMahon, Jordan and Brigham Adolph, Stephanie Rickett, Jennifer Windle, Allison and John David Bloom; great-grandchildren, Leighton and Ethan Buxman and Julian Windle.
Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and a grandchild.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Service 3:00 P.M., Friday, September 23rd at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the Allnutt Reception Center. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 1:00 P.M., Monday.
