BELOVED RESIDENT OF BIG RUN DEAD.
Amos H. Foust, Succumbed in Home of Daughter, Mrs. Thomas Palmer, Sunday
Amos H. Foust, a beloved resident of Big Run, died in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Palmer, of that place Saturday, at the age of 84 years.
The deceased was born in Chambersburg, May 7, 1856, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Foust and was united in marriage to Miss Ellen Reitz in 1883. She died a number of years ago. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Frank Satterlee, of Johnson City, NY and Mrs. Thomas Palmer, of Big Run, and one sister, Mrs. A. O. Brubaker, of Punxsutawney. Fifteeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren are also living. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon beginning at 2 o`clock in the Palmer home in Big Run with interment in the Fairview Cemetery.
