Ernestine Snider, 72, died at 5:25 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Village Nursing Center.

Born Sept. 3, 1935, in Odon, she was the daughter of Ernest and Mable (Inman) Atchley.

A homemaker, she was a member of Odon Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Snider, whom she married June 28, 1974; daughters and son-in-law, Nancy and Larry Porter of Odon, Diane Matheny of Crane, Lucy Grisham and Elizabeth Carter, both of Evansville; sons, Ronald Jones of Burns City, and David Snider of Evansville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Atchley Jr. and Ronald Atchley, both of Odon, and Donald Johnston of Loogootee; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Kenneth Hall of Odon.

One sister, Mary Mumma, and two brothers, Morris and Kenny Atchley, are deceased.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Odon, with Rev. Jason Karper officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home, Odon Chapel.
