MRS. JOHN H. DUNMORE
After a long and tedious siege, Mrs. Dunmore passed to her reward on Sunday evening, Oct. 5, 1913 at her home on east Hopkins Avenue in Granville. The funeral services took place from the Congregational Church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. R. Kidder Stetson preaching the funeral sermon and Frank Peterson as director in charge, interment in the beautiful Granville Cemetery.
Mrs. LeEtte McDonald Dunmore was born at Quaker Street, Schnectady, N. Y. April 26, 1863 and was therefore just past fifty when she died. She married John Dunmore at Clinton, Iowa, March 23, 1887. To them one son was born, Roy H. who still lives and was here at the funeral coming from North Dakota where he had but recently returned from a visit to his home here.
The friends from out of town who came to the funeral were: E. O. McDonald her brother of Lincoln, Illinois; T. H. Moore, wife and daughter Ruth of Chicago, Mrs. Moore a sister to the departed; Mrs. W. J. Smith, a sister in-law, of Lincoln, Illinois; Mrs. John Cullen of Clinton, Iowa, a daughter to Mr. Dunmore by his first wife, and Mrs. E. E. Lambrook of Monticello, a close friend of the family.
