Alice Elizabeth Bowser, 70, of Richland Township, formerly of Springdale, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at Rebecca Residence, Hampton.


She was born July 3, 1936, in Patriot, Ohio, to the late Harry and Edith (Peoples) Davies, and has resided in Springdale since 1959, moving to Richland two years ago.


Mrs. Bowser was employed as a registered nurse at Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, and was a member of the Springdale United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Springdale Chapter.


She is survived by her husband, James T. Bowser; a daughter, Pamela (John) Ranallo, of Allison Park; two grandchildren, Craig and Angela Ranallo; two brothers, Glenn Davies, of Patriot, Ohio, and Oscar Davies, of Gallipolas, Ohio.


Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Springdale at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME, where services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday.


Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
