Lancaster - Mr. William Franklin Adams, 74, died Dec 19, 1923, at the Piedmont Medical Center.
Born November 7, 1923 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Annie Pate Adams. An Army Veteran, Mr. Adams was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church and retired carpenter.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec 21 at 1:30 pm from the Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster Chapel by the Rev. Joel Rhyner and Rev. Ron Gregory. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.
Mr. Adams is survived by two sons, Mr. Ronald “Ricky” Adams of Fort Lawn and Mrs. Mitchell “Mickey” Adams of Lancaster; six daughters, Mrs. Jimmy (Patty) Wallace of Jefferson, Mrs. Jackie West, Mrs. Kenneth (Charlene) Hargett, Mrs. Bobby (Betty) Jean Wright, Mrs. Buddy (Linda) Stevens and Mrs. Gail Corder all of Lancaster; a brother, Mr. Floyd Adams of Lancaster; three sisters, Mrs. Glen (Sue) Trapp of Great Falls, Mrs. Johnny (Mildred) Kirkley and Mrs. Linda Adams, both of Lancaster; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
