Mrs. Enger C. Johnson- Mrs. Enger C. Johnson, mother of Mrs. John Tweeton, and the Johnson boys who live near Falkirk, died at the Tweeton home, northeast of town Thursday, March 25, at 8 A.M., after a short illness. Death was due to leakage of the heart and rheumatism, after a short illness of a couple days with the flu.

Mrs. Johnson, who has been an invalid for the past several years, was in her usual health up until Saturday of last week, when she became ill with the flu. In a day or two she was seriously ill, and her condition alarmed her family. Wednesday evening she appeared to be better, as well as the next morning when she ate a larger breakfast than usual, which seemed to indicate that she was improving. However, about 8 o'clock her daughter went to her room and found her unconscious and it was only a few minutes later that she breathed her last.

Mrs. Johnson, who was 79 year of age, June 25, 1925, has been a resident of this county for the last 18 years, having come here from Montgomery, Iowa, to make her home with her children. She was born in Norway and came to this country with her parents when one year old. The family moved to Iowa and there she grew to womanhood and married. Mr. Johnson died 33 years ago in that state. Her oldest son, L.M. Johnson, came to this county in 1901 and later other of her children came. It was then that Mrs. Johnson came to make her home here. The children surviving her are L.M. Johnson, J.O. Johnson, E.E. Johnson of Falkirk, F.O. Johnson of Driscoll, Sam E. Johnson of Jamestown, Miss Elizabeth Aarvig of Baldwin, Wis., Miss Martha Taggart of Midland, S.D., and Mrs. John Tweeton of Washburn.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, at 2 P.M. at the Tweeton Home and at 3 P.M. at the Lutheran Church in charge of Rev. Harold Hansen. Burial will be made at the Riverview cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson all her life has been a true Christian woman and a life member of the Lutheran Church. She was always very active in church and religious work, but was forced to discontinue active work when she became an invalid. Those who knew her best will miss her, as well as her children, who have the sympathy of their many friends.
