William Que Bailey passed away March 27, 1985 at a Salt Lake Hospital after a long term illness. Born May 27,1931.Ephraim, Utah to William Lee and Martha Jewkes Bailey. Married Winona Solo. later divorced, Married Martha McKendrick, June 22, 1968, Carbonville, Utah.
Carpenter, member LDS Church.
Survivors: wife Martha, Taylorsville,children,William Allen, West Jordan; Mrs Hal (Linda Darlene) Price, Garland; Michael Que,Salt Lake City, Edward Lee, Taylorsville, Julla Ann, Garland; seven grandchildren, Stephen, Joy, Mike, K.C,Jessica, Amy,Jason;
brothers,sisters, Mrs Boyd (Kolleen) Madsen, Mesa, Ariz,LeDale, Kearns, Frank LaMar, Rose Park; Reid L., Mrs Bill (Margene) Giles, both West Valley City.
Funeral services, Friday March 29, 3p.m. West Jardan West Stake Center, 3200 West 7350 South, where friends may call one hour prior to services, Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, Funeral directors, Memorial Estates Mortuary.
Note: William Que Bailey was a very talented athlete when in school, When he was about 14 years of age, he lost the sight in one eye by a arrow hitting him in the eye, But he over came this, His senior year at Snow High School, he was 6 foot 5 inches tall, 200lbs, He was first team All State in the class B Tournament,the highest scorer in the State Tournament,Also played baseball as a pitcher for Snow High, also won first place in the shot put at the State Track meet. Que also played basketball on the Snow College Varsity team.
